The Chainlink

The Chainlink Band is a power packed group of musicians and singers that deliver an exciting energy filled show. The band features R&B, Classic Rock and Country Music. CLB began performing in 1990. headlining fairs and festivals and opening shows for Mark Farner, Black Oak Arkansas, Badfinger, Peter Frampton, to name a few. CLB  has had national as well as regional hits.

 

The band has served as a headliner as well as an opening act for Mark Farner, formerly of Grand Funk. CLB has been the backing band for David Frizzell, Archie Bell, Percy Sledge, Clarence Carter, Dennis Yost, and also Texas regional acts.

 

The band manager and drummer is Jack Welch. Jack has set in with numerous acts such as Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Kansas,  Percy Sledge, The Classics Four, Archie Bell, David Frizzell and many others.

The Chainlink Band provides an unrivaled entertainment experience. CLB provides the highest standards for talent, live performance, musical authenticity, choreography, and customer service. Based in Texas, CLB specializes in corporate entertainment, weddings and private shows.

Ranging from 3-piece all the way up to a 12-piece orchestra, The Chainlink Band consists of multiple male & female vocalists, keyboards, pedal steel guitar, lead guitar, saxophone, trumpet, bass, drums, and/or percussion. Each show is tailored to suit the booking request.

The Chainlink Band's unrivaled song repertoire includes a wide variety of pop, classic rock, country, r & b, jazz, motown, and soul music.

For cocktail and dinner music the band plays lower volume slow and mid-tempo songs. When it's party time, the group provides non-stop high energy entertainment focusing on choreography, audience interaction and keeping the dance floor full. Always engaging the audience and never missing a beat, The Chainlink Band performs a power house show.

Classic Rock/R&B/Blues

Chainlink (CLB) is a high-energy rock & roll band. This version of the Chainlink Band draws on influences of Grand Funk, Foreigner, Jack White, ZZ Top, Steve Miller, Mark Farner, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Joe Cocker, Marvin Gaye and Earth, Wind And Fire to name a few. 

  

Country

This version of Chainlink provides the finest country dance band in the southwest. Since 2008, CLB has played over 500 dates all over the southwest at notorious dance halls including Coupland Dance Hall, 11th Street Cowboy Bar and Grill,  Stagecoach Ball Room, Armadillo Ball Room, Rowdy Bucks and many more. CLB has opened concerts for Stoney LaRue, John Conlee, John Anderson, Jason Boland, Cody Johnson, Steve Wariner, Deryl Dodd, Josh Abbot, Johnny Rodriquez to name only a few.
